The Business

Meet Jan: An incredibly creative floral artist with her own stylish florist shop. Complete with mood lighting, stunning florals and styling touches of timber and charcoal, Jan’s shop is a high-end masterpiece that her customers adore exploring.

This History

Before working together:

• Jan had been working as a florist for her competition in a small town and was ready to branch out (and stand out!) on her own.
• When she came to me, Jan had commissioned an artwork that embodied her business name and had a strong vision for her brand … but needed professional help pulling it all together visually.
• Jan wanted her visual branding to reflect the unique beauty of her impeccable styling and floral designs.
• Jan wanted to become the go-to florist her hometown and beyond, particularly for weddings.
  

The Dream

Jan had visions of branding that reflected her careful and loving attention to detail, while embodying the stylish elegance of her physical shop. She needed a website with a simple, easy and captivating online shopping experience that would cement her as a force to be reckoned with (and ensure she didn’t lose any customers in the checkout process).

The Design

The brand: Elegant and artistic, combining clean lines and refined elements. Classic serif font for a timeless look with a simple colour palette to allow the flowers to shine.

The website: Custom typography and mindful use of white space to showcase the flowers, clean images and text for the shop and galleries. User experience had to match walking into the shop, so elements like buttons that subtly glistened when hovered over were important.

The Results

After launching her new brand and website, Jan:

• Won New Business of the Year in her local town (woo hoo!)
• Has an online shop to rival major Sydney and Melbourne florists.
• Got 100% return on investment from the online shop alone within one month of launching.
• Has attracted weddings and event bookings within 100km radius of her store (a big deal for a local florist!)
• Blossomed and bloomed so quickly that she has employed two more florists to help her keep up with orders.Is now an exclusive stockist for multiple local artisans.
• Has become the local photographer’s choice supplier for photoshoots.
• Adores her easy-to-use website and stunning brand.
