2. Missing CTA (call-to-action)

We want users to take action right? Well, we need to capture their attention and politely ask them to make their move all while not interrupting the information flow. Think bold buttons and fun copy. Rather than button text like ‘learn more’, consider using copy that keeps the user in mind such as ‘transform my online home’ or ‘build my dream website’.

3. Dull or overwhelming aesthetics

Yes boring is bad, but so is over-decorating. If you have an existing brand style start there. Use colours, fonts and images that are consistent and pair visual elements harmoniously with copy. Don’t forget our old friend white space, she encourages users to move from one section to the next.

4. Neglecting your user journey
